The last months have been turbulent for the most stable of us. We have all dealt with a variety of fears, uncertainties and anxieties - some of us affected directly by the pandemic and some by the repercussions of it. How do we learn to deal with a situation that has no quick solutions or fixes? How do we learn to sit with the ups and downs that life throws at us?

In this online Forrest Yoga workshop, we will explore what it means to use the body as an inner refuge, as a nourishing home that serves as a container for our experiences. We will use this grounding , hip-opening practice as a backdrop to recognise and allow our inner experience. We will explore how “mindful allowing” gives us the permission to touch deeper layers of ourselves. We will learn to nurture our experiences with self-compassion at a visceral level.

This workshop will begin with calling in the four directions, followed by chanting and drumming songs. This will be followed by an All-levels Forrest Yoga practice (bring along a block, rolled up mat, strap and blanket). The workshop will end with a yoga Nidra practice to integrate the realisations from the practice.

In order to keep the quality of this workshop high and to be able to give individual feedback for those who the teacher can visually see, we limit the number of participants to a maximum of 18.
