Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery are rich and intense experiences. The yoga practices within the Poppy Perinatal Yoga style are designed to help people:
1) balance and align the body and emotions
2) skillfully soften and relax within intensity
3) increase stamina and endurance for the realities of labor, childbirth, and postpartum recovery
The pranayama and asana practices meet you where you’re at and accommodate your needs during pregnancy and post-birth, whether you need a slow/gentle practice or moderate to more athletic practice. This style of yoga is Forrest-inspired and incorporates specialized core exercises designed for supporting prenatal and postnatal people.

Join Sita Menon and Alexandra Kleinheinrich in this exploration of Resilience within Softness. This workshop will begin with an hour of soft somatic exploration   to help prepare the subtle layers of the body, led by Alexandra. This will be followed by a strong Forrest Yoga practice that will lead your awareness into the area of the body below the navel, the lower belly, hips and pelvic floor. The workshop will culminate with an exploratory meditation and journaling.

The Mentorship program gives Forrest Foundation Training graduates the opportunity to deeper into their teaching and the personal process. Conducted over the course of one year in small, personal groups, this program helps one connect to the power of community to connect deeper to recognizing, acknowledging and tapping into one's own gifts.
