The Intro to Forrest Yoga is ideal for students new to Forrest yoga, but also a wonderful opportunity to refresh skills for more experienced students. It is also an ideal workshop to learn the "why" behind what we do. Why do we activate feet, why do we telescope and expand ribs, why do we lengthen tail bone and who is this appropriate for, why do we relax the neck? What is the "right" way to breathe? How does one develop an expansive breath that one could use to regulate the nervous system? Answers to all these questions and more ...

Part 1 on Feb 23 will cover breath, basic moves, and poses. 

Part 2 on March 1 will go over the four pillars of Forrest Yoga and how to backbend safely.
